INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Boxmore Packaging Ltd and Air Products PLC have applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving Fluorinated Container manufacture Ref section 4.2 A(1)(b) and an associated activity of storage of fluorine in nitrogen. The installation is located at Boxmore Packaging Ltd, Boxmore Plastics, Gateway, Crewe, Cheshire CW1 6YA; and the associated activity at Air Products PLC, Special Gases Group, Weston Road, Crewe, Cheshire CW1 6BT, in the borough/district of Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council in the county of Cheshire. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. Information relating to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate the Crewe Fluorinated Container Manufacture Plant is held in registers at the following locations: The Environment Agency, Appleton House, 430 Birchwood Boulevard, Birchwood, Wanington WA3 7WD; and Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council, IPPC Public Register, Municipal Buildings, Earle Street, Crewe CW1 2BJ. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
