NOTICE OF PROPOSED PRE-INQUIRY CHANGES TO THE EAST DEVON LOCAL PLAN 1995-2001

The East Devon District Council published the Deposit Version of the East Devon Local Plan in January 2002 and the Revised Deposit Version in September 2003. Some changes are proposed prior to the commencement of the second part of the Public Local Inquiry in April/May 2005. Copies of these changes are available for inspection, free of charge, at the: Environment Directorate, East Devon District Council Offices, Knowle, Sidmouth EX10 8HL. Mondays to Fridays 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. The public libraries of Axminster, Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth, Honiton, Ottery St Mary, Seaton and Sidmouth, during normal opening hours. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the changes should be sent in writing to the Corporate Director—Environment (FAO Policy and Conservation Section), East Devon District Council Offices, Knowle, Sidmouth EX10 8HL, by 16 February 2005. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the plan. Objections may be made only in respect of these charges. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6-weeks period starting on 5 January 2005 and ending on 16 February 2005 will have a right to have their objections considered at the local inquiry.
