NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that D & JJ Caton, of Ballards Gore Golf Club, Gore Road, Canewdon, Essex, is applying to the Environment Agency to abstract water from a sand gravel well at National Grid Ref TQ 9030 9280, at Ballards Gore Golf Club, Canewdon, Essex. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 10 cubic metres per hour, 100 cubic metres per day, 6,000 cubic metres per year for golf course spray irrigation. This application is to renew a licence 8 37 44 6 0067 without change which expired on 31 October 2004. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Ballards Gore Golf Club, between 9 February 2005 and 8 March 2005. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Environment Agency, Eastern Area Office, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE, before the end of the said period.
