THE HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) AMENDMENT (NO ) ORDER 2005

1. Notice is hereby given, that the Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Order would be to further amend the Hammersmith and Fulham (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1993 No 112 so that: (a) waiting restrictions in roads within the Controlled Parking Zone V are brought in line with the on-street layout; (b) within Controlled Parking Zone V at every junction of Uxbridge Road with one of its side roads, no waiting at any time restrictions will apply; (c) waiting restrictions in the side-roads to Uxbridge Road in Zones J and in Hopgood Street, Pennard Road, Lime Grove, Frithville Gardens are brought in line with the on-street layout; (d) within Controlled Parking Zone J between its boundary with Zone V and Wood Lane, at every junction of Uxbridge Road with one of its side roads, no waiting at any time restrictions will apply; (e) at the junctions of Uxbridge Road with Lime Grove, Frithville Gardens, Hopgood Street and Pennard Road, no waiting at any time restrictions will apply; (f) at the junctions of Hemlock Street with Clematis Street, Dawes Road with Bishop’s Road, Barton Road with Baron’s Court Road, Baron Court Road with Palliser Road and Palliser Road with Barton Road, no waiting at any time restrictions apply. 3. A copy of the proposed Order and the plans which show the location and effects of the Order, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, can be inspected at the address below between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order. 4. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order or make representations should send a statement in writing of the objection and the grounds on which it is made within 21 days from the date on which this notice is published to: Network Management Team, Environment Department, Town Hall Extension, King Street, Hammersmith, London W6 9JU.
