THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO 158) ORDER 2005
LONDON SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENTS

1. Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council on 9 February 2005 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Parking Places Order will be: (a) on the south-east side of Sardinia Street to extend an existing 2-hour meter parking place by one bay and provide an additional 2-hour meter parking place for one vehicle; and (b) on the north-west side of Portugal Street to extend a residents parking place by one vehicle space. 3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order will be: (a) in Carey Street to extend two existing solo motorcycle parking areas; and (b) in Portugal Street to provide an additional solo motorcycle parking area on the south-east side by Carey Street. 4. The Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Monday to Fridays inclusive at Mouchel Parkman, Third Floor, 209-215 Blackfriars Road, London SE1 8NL, until 23 March 2005. 5. The Orders will come into force for the purpose of the placing of traffic signs, etc. on 11 February 2005 and for all other purposes on 14 February 2005. 6. Any person desiring to question the validity of either of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to either of the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 23 March 2005.
