NOTICE OF TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER
LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2005/001

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Southwark on the above-mentioned Order under sections 6, 45, 46 and 49, and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and of all other powers thereunto. 2. The general effect of the Order would be to amend the London Borough of Southwark (Waiting Restrictions and Parking Places) (No 2) Order 2001/074 by amending the Schedules attached to those Orders by the following additions: (a) Resident permit spaces in Sutherland Square and Sutherland Walk. (b) Business permit space in Sutherland Square. (c) Disabled permit holder bay in Sutherland Square. (d) Short term waiting spaces in Sutherland Square. (e) Meter parking spaces in Sutherland Walk and Macleod Street. (f) Amendment of at any time waiting restriction to Macleod Street, Sutherland Walk and Sutherland Square. (g) Amendment of Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 6.30 pm waiting restriction to Sutherland Square and Sutherland Walk. 3. A copy of the Order which will come into operation on 17 February, and plans to which the Order relates can be inspected on Mondays to Fridays inclusive during normal office hours for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Southwark Regeneration and Environment Department, Council Offices, Chiltern House, Portland Street, London SE17 2ES. 4. Further information and a copy of the proposd Order may be obtained from, Alexis Bielich at the above address (telephone 020 7525 5594). 5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained therein on grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
