THE KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA (BUS PRIORITY) (REVOCATION NO 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2005
KENSINGTON ROAD—PERMANENT REMOVAL OF WESTBOUND BUS LANE
1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and
Chelsea, on 10 February 2005, made the Kensington and Chelsea (Bus Priority) (Revocation
No 1) Traffic Order 2005 under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to make permanent the provisions of the
Kensington and Chelsea (Bus Priority) (No 1) Experimental Traffic Order 2004, removing
the westbound bus lane in Kensington Road which lies between its junction with Queen’s
Gate and its junction with the eastern arm of Kensington Court.
3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 14 February 2005, and of
all other relevant documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays
to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date the Order
was made at The Town Hall, Hornton Street, LondonW8 7NX.
4. Any persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision
contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof
or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation
to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make an
application for the purpose to the High Court.
