ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A3 AND A202 GLA ROADS (SOUTHWARK) TRAFFIC ORDER 2005

1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 7 February 2005 it made the above-named Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 14 February 2005. 2. The general nature and effect of the Order is to re-impose certain bus lanes on A3 Elephant and Castle (operating from 7.00 am until 10.00 am on Mondays to Fridays), A3 Newington Butts (operating at any time) and A202 Camberwell Church Street, A202 Peckham High Street, A202 Peckham Road and A202 Queen’s Road (operating from 7.00 am until 10.00 am and from 4.00 pm until 7.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays), so that the traffic order accurately reflects the bus lanes as they apply on the ground. There will be no change to the way the bus lanes currently operate. 3. The roads affected by the Order are A3 Elephant and Castle, A3 Newington Butts, A202 Camberwell Church Street, A202 Peckham High Street, A202 Peckham Road and A202 Queens Road in the London Borough of Southwark. 4. A copy of the Order, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of: Transport for London—Street Management, Statutory Functions—Traffic Orders, 84 Eccleston Square, London SW1V 1LP; and London Borough of Southwark, Regeneration and Environment Department, Council Offices, Chiltern House, Portland Street, London SE17 2ES. 5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
