THE EALING (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO   ) ORDER 2005

1. Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Ealing Council, in connection with an extension to the Ealing Broadway Controlled Parking Zone, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.
2. The general effect of the Ealing (Ealing Broadway) (Residents Parking Places) (No 2) (Amendment No  ) Order 2005 will be:

(a) to introduce parking places for the use of residents and their visitors in lengths of Blakesley Avenue, Eaton Rise, Elmcroft Close, Hillcrest Road, Hogarth Close, Longfield Road, Marchwood Crescent, Montpelier Road, St. Peter’s Way and The Firs, Ealing;
(b) to provide that the parking places will operate in the periods between 9.00 am and 10.00 am and between 3.00 pm and 4.00 pm, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive; and
(c) to provide that passenger vehicles, goods carrying vehicles, motorcycles and disabled persons vehicles may be left in a parking place without limitation on time during the controlled hours and that with the exception of motorcycles and disabled persons vehicles, a valid permit or voucher must be displayed whilst parked therein.

3. The general effect of the Ealing (Free Parking Places) (No 2) (Amendment No  ) Order 2005 will be to introduce limited time free parking places where parking by vehicles during the controlled hours will be limited to 30 minutes with no return by the same vehicle to the same parking place for a period of 1 hour in lengths of Blakesley Avenue, Eaton Rise, Hillcrest Road, Marchwood Crescent and Montpelier Road, Ealing.
4. The general effect of the Ealing (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (Amendment No  ) Order 200  will be to introduce free parking places for vehicles displaying the disabled driver’s blue badge parking permit without limit on time in lengths of Eaton Rise and Marchwood Crescent, Ealing.
5. The general effect of the Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No  ) Order 200  will be:

(a) to amend existing waiting restrictions or introduce new waiting restrictions that apply at any time or between the controlled hours of between 9.00 am and 10.00 am and between 3.00 pm and 4.00 pm, on Mondays to Fridays, in lengths of Blakesley Avenue, Castlebar Road, Eaton Rise, Elmcroft Close, Helena Road, Hillcrest Road (excluding the length in B), Hogarth Close, Longfield Road, Marchwood Crescent, Montpelier Avenue, Montpelier Road, Mount Avenue, Nichols Green, St. Peter’s Way. The Firs and West Road; and
(b) to introduce a length of single yellow line waiting restriction applying between the hours of 11.00 am and 12.00 noon, on Mondays to Fridays on the north side of Hillcrest Road, Ealing, between a point 7 metres east of Fox Lane and a point 85 metres east of Fox Lane.

6. Residents Parking Permits will be available at a cost of £25 per annum and business users permits available at a cost of £250 per annum.
7. Business Visitors Vouchers can be purchased at a cost of £1 per hour and Residents Visitors Vouchers can be purchased at a cost of 40p for a period up to 3 hours and £1 all day.
8. Borough wide vouchers will be available to park in the zone for £1 per hour.
9. The Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm, Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Mouchel Parkman Ltd., 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

11. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, Mouchel Parkman Ltd., 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP, quoting Ref 641221/ORD3206/sjc, until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

Blakesley Avenue, Castlebar Road (Nos 8 to 28 on the north side and Nos 27 to 31 on the south side), Eaton Rise, Elmcroft Close, Fir Tree Close, Hillcrest Road, Hogarth Close, Longfield Road, Marchwood Crescent, Montpelier Road (between its junctions with Eaton Rise and Park Hill), Nichols Green, St. Peter’s Way and The Firs, Ealing.
