THE ISLINGTON AND HACKNEY (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) (NO 2) TRAFFIC ORDER 2005
RIVERSDALE ROAD AREA
1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Islington on 7 February 2005, made the above mentioned Order under section 6 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of this Order will be to introduce a lorry ban in the Riversdale Road Area to include the following streets: Aberdeen Road between Sotheby Road and the common boundary of No 106 Aberdeen Park and No 2 Aberdeen Road, Ardilaun Road, Balfour Road, Beresford Terrace, Canning Road, Catherall Road, Collins Road, Herrick Road, Highbury Grange, Highbury New Park between Highbury Quadrant and Grosvenor Avenue, Highbury Quadrant, Kelross Road, Mountgrove Road, Northolme Road, Riversdale Road, Sotheby Road, Stradbroke Road and Wyatt Road. 3. The lorry ban would prohibit goods vehicles (the maximum gross weight of which exceeds 7.5 tonnes) from entering certain residential streets in the Riversdale Road Area, except for access. 4. The Order, which will come into force on 14 February 2005, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection during normal office hours until 21 March 2005, at the following location: Street Management, The Municipal Offices, 222 Upper Street, London N1 1YA. Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 21 March 2005.
