THE A107 GLA ROAD (HACKNEY) (BUS PRIORITY) (UPPER CLAPTON ROAD) TRAFFIC ORDER 2005

1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 7 February 2005, it made this Order, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 11 February 2005.
2. The general nature and effect of the Order is to make permanent bus lanes along the A107 Upper Clapton Road and the A107 Clapton Common between the A10 Stamford Hill and the A104 Lea Bridge Road, for use by buses, taxis and cycles, in both directions. Bus lanes will operate every day between 8.00 am and 7.00 pm.
3. The roads affected by the Order are the A107 Upper Clapton Road and the A107 Clapton Common, between the A10 Stamford Hill and the A104 Lea Bridge Road, in the London Borough of Hackney.
4. A copy of the Order, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of:

Transport for London, Street Management, Statutory Functions, Traffic Orders, 84 Eccleston Square, London SW1V 1LP; and
London Borough of Hackney, Traffic and Transport Department, First Floor Reception, Dorothy Hodgkin House, 12 Reading Lane, London E8 1HJ.

5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
