PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000 (AS AMENDED)

Notice is hereby given that Ball Packaging Europe UK Ltd has applied to Rugby Borough Council for a Local Authority Pollution Prevention and Control (LA-IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the coating of substrates and associated activities using organic solvents with a production capacity of more than 200 tonnes per year. The installation is located at:

Ball Packaging Europe UK Ltd, Rugby Plant, Pretorian Way, Glebe Farm Industrial Estate, Rugby CV21 1RN in the county borough of Warwickshire.

The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. The application has been placed on the public register held at:

Environmental Health, The Retreat, Newbold Road, Rugby CV21 2LG

and may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours.
Any person may make representations in writing to the regulator within 28 days, beginning with the date of this advertisement to the above address. Any such representation made by any person will be entered in to a public register unless that person requests in writing that they should not be so entered.
Where such a request is made, there will be included in the register a statement indicating only that representations have been made which have been the subject of such a request.
