THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO 164) ORDER 2005
ASHMILL STREET, LISSON STREET, RANSTON STREET AND SALISBURY STREET

1. Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council on 7 February 2005, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to further amend the City of Westminster (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (No 1) Order 2002, so that in the lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this notice, the hours during which the existing prohibition applies on:

(a) waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle) will be changed so that it will apply at any time;
(b) waiting by vehicles for more than 20 minutes in the same place for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle will be changed so that it will apply between 11.00 am and 6.30 pm, throughout the week.

3. The Order, which will come into force on 14 February 2005, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm, on Monday to Fridays inclusive at West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6AJ, until 21 March 2005.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 21 March 2005.

Schedule
Ashmill Street, the south-east side, between the north-eastern kerbline of Lisson Street and the south-western kerbline of Ranston Street.

Lisson Street :
(a) the north-east side, between the south-eastern kerbline of Ashmill Street and a point 10 metres south-east of that kerbline;
(b) the south-west side, between the north-western kerbline of Ashmill Street and a point 6.3 metres south-east of the common boundary of Broadley Street and the North Westminster Community School.

Ranston Street, the south-west side, between the south-eastern kerbline of Ashmill Street and a point 4.5 metres south-east of that kerbline.

Salisbury Street, the south-west side, between the north-western kerbline of Ashmill Street and a point 11 metres north-west of the south-easternmost flank wall of Whitfield House, Salisbury Street.
