NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO STOP UP FOR THE PURPOSES OF ALL TRAFFIC, PART OF THE HIGHWAY BETWEEN 72 AND 80 EASTON STREET, PORTLAND, DORSET WITH THE RETENTION OF A FOOTPATH

Notice of application to stop up for the purposes of all traffic, part of the highway between Nos 72 and 80 Easton Street, Portland, Dorset with the retention of a footpath on adjacent land. The Borough Council of Weymouth and Portland will be applying to the Weymouth Magistrates’ Court at the Law Courts, Westwey Road, Weymouth, Dorset, on 17 March 2005, at 3.00 pm, for an Order for the following: 1. To stop up for the purposes of all traffic the highway described in the Schedule whilst retaining a footpath on adjacent land; and 2. To stop up the highway to width of 8.9 metres and 4.8 metres for a distance of 29.6 metres. A plan showing the proposed stopping up may be inspected, free of charge, during normal opening hours of Weymouth and Portland Borough Council, North Quay, Weymouth, Dorset.
