THE A487 TRUNK ROAD (BOW STREET, CEREDIGION) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2005

Notice is hereby given that the Minister for Economic Development and Transport, acting on behalf of the National Assembly for Wales has made an Order under sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which comes into force on 7 February 2005. The effect of the Order is to prohibit the waiting, at any time, of vehicles on the sides of those lengths of the A487 Trunk Road (hereinafter referred to as ‘the trunk road’) specified in Schedule 1 to this notice, and to restrict the waiting of vehicles on the sides of the length of the trunk road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice. During a period of 6 weeks from 7 February 2005, a copy of the Order, together with a plan, may be inspected free of charge during normal working hours at Bow Street Post Office, Bow Street, Ceredigion or may be obtained free of charge from the address below quoting the Ref C2510-2-22-27. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provisions contained therein on the grounds: (a)  that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; or (b)  that his/her interests have been prejudiced substantially by a failure to comply with any of the requirements of the Act, they may, within 6 weeks of 7 February 2005, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein. Schedule 1 Prohibition of waiting That length of the northern side of the trunk road which extends from a point 9 metres north-east of the centre of its junction with the C1049 road to Clarach, to a point 43 metres north-east of the centre of its junction with the C1049. That length of the eastern side of the trunk road which extends from a point 211 metres south-east of the centre of its junction with the C1019, Y Lon Groes (Cross Street), to a point 247 metres south-east of the centre of its junction with the C1019. That length of the western side of the trunk road which extends from a point 211 metres south-west of the centre of its junction with the C1019. Y Lon Groes (Cross Street), to a point 245 metres south-east of the centre of its junction with the C1019. That length of the eastern side of the trunk road which extends from a point 239 metres south of the centre of its junction with the B4353 road to Borth, to a point 327 metres south of the centre of its junction with the B4353. That length of the western side of the trunk road which extends from a point 239 metres south of the centre of its junction with the B4353 road to Borth, to a point 325 metres south of the centre of its junction with the B4353. Schedule 2 Waiting restricted to 15 minutes in any one hour between 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday, and between 9.00 am to 1.00 pm Saturday. That length of the northern side of the trunk road which extends from a point 43 metres north-east of the centre of its junction with the C1049 road to Clarach, to a point 66 metres north-east of the centre of its junction with the C1049.
