NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Raquets Farm, Wyecliff, Hay-on-Wye, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from inland water—River Wye, at National Grid Ref SO 2235 4230, at Wyecliff, Clyro parish. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 45.4 cubic metres per hour, 454 cubic metres per day, 6,000 cubic metres per year, between 1 April and 31 October each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Hay-on-Wye Library, between 2 February 2005 and 2 March 2005. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency Wales, Hadnock Road, Monmouth, Monmouthshire NP25 3QN, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
