NOTICE OF MAKING OF TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Southwark, on 27 Janaury 2005, made the above-mentioned Order under section 6, of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and of all other powers thereunto. 2. The general effect of the Order is to control the waiting and loading on the following roads: Lordship Lane, Crawthew Grove, Frogley Road, Northcross Road, Shawbury Road, Chesterfield Grove, Ashbourne Grove, Matham Grove and Zenoria Street. 3. The general effect of the Order is to: (a) extend the hours of operation of the parking bay on the north side of Lordship Lane between Frogley Road and Northcross Road to 7.00 am to 7.00 pm (removal of existing waiting and loading restrictions); and (b) provide parking bays in Crawthew Grove, Frogley Road, Northcross Road, Shawbury Road, Chesterfield Grove, Ashbourne Grove, Matham Grove and Zenoria Street. 4. A copy of the Order, which shall come into operation 13 January 2005, relevant Schedules and plans to which the Order relates, can be inspected on Mondays to Fridays inclusive during normal office hours for a period of 6 weeks from the date of which the Order was made at Southwark Regeneration and Environment Department, Council Offices, Chiltern House, Portland Street, London SE17 2ES. 5. Further information and a copy of the Order may be obtained from, Chris Mascord at the above address (telephone 020 7525 5385). 6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations thereunder, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
