NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that TopBreed Ltd. of Merton Grounds Farm, Wendlebury, Bicester, Oxfordshire, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from the Longford Brook, between National Grid Refs SP 5756 1914 and SP 5811 1967 at Merton Grounds Farm, Wendlebury, Bicester, Oxfordshire. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 18.18 cubic metres per hour 145.47 cubic metres per day 16,256 cubic metres per year between 1 November and 31 March each year. The water will be used for filling and maintaining a reservoir. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Merton Grounds Farm between 17 December 2004 and 17 January 2005.
