The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has made a Scheme under section 16 of the Highways Act 1980, which will: authorise him to revoke the Watford and South of St Albans—Redbourn—Kidney Wood, Luton (Special Road Scheme 1957) (Park Street to Beechtrees Partial Revocation) Scheme 2004. That scheme partially revoked the Watford and South of St Albans—Redbourn—Kidney Wood, Luton Special Road Scheme 1957, but did not specify which part of the 1957 scheme was to be revoked. Copies of the Revocation Scheme and the plan referred to in it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours from 16 December 2004 until 27 January 2005 at the Highways Agency, Major Projects National Division, Broadway, Broad Street, Birmingham B15 1BL; at the Highways Agency, Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL; Hertfordshire County Council, Highways Department, 2nd Floor, Trident House, 42-48 Victoria Street, St Albans, Hertfordshire AL1 3HZ; at Hertfordshire County Council, Shirehouse, Bridlepath, Watford WD17 1AL: at St Albans City and District Council, Civic Centre, St Albans AL1 3JE; at Dacorum Borough Council, Civic Centre, Hemel Hempstead HP1 1HH, and at Luton Borough Council Town Hall, Luton LU1 3BQ. Copies of the Revocation Scheme can be purchased through booksellers or direct from government bookshops (The Stationery Office). It is numbered SI 3107/2004 and is priced £3. Any person aggrieved by the Revocation Scheme who desires to question its validity, or the validity of any provision in it, on the ground that: (a) it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, or (b) any requirement of that Act or of regulations made under that Act has not been complied with in relation to the Revocation Scheme may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date of first publication of this notice.
