THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (FREE PARKING PLACE) (DISABLED DRIVERS) (PERMIT PARKING PLACES) (NO 23) ORDER 2004
NEEDHAM ROAD
1. Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council on 15 December 2004, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Disabled Drivers Permit Parking Place Order will be to provide a disabled driver’s personal permit parking place for one vehicle on the north-east side of Needham Road which will be available for the use of vehicles which display a Westminster disabled permit issued in respect of that parking place without charge or time limit. 3. The general effect of Orders will be to: (a) shorten a certain residents’ parking place in Needham Road; (b) provide that in respect of the residents’ parking place, that the classes of vehicles for which it would be available, the hours during which it will operate and all the time limits during which vehicles may be left in the parking place will remain unchanged. 4. The Orders will come into force for the purpose of placing of traffic signs, etc, 17 December 2004, and into force for all other purposes on 20 December 2004. 5. The Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Friday inclusive, at Mouchel Parkman, Third Floor, 209-215 Blackfriars Road, London SE1 8NL, until 26 January 2005. 6. Any person desiring to question the validity of either of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to either of the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 6 January 2005.
