PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000

INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that ABP Ellesmere has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving beef processing. The installation is located at ABP Ellesmere, Hordley, Ellesmere SY12 9BL in the borough/district of Shropshire County Council. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. Information relating to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate ABP Ellesmere is held in registers at the following locations: Environment Agency Office, Mance House, Arthur Drive, Hoo Farm Industrial Estate, Worcester Road, Kidderminster, Worcestershire DY11 7RA; and North Shropshire District Council, Edinburgh House, New Street, Wem, Shrewsbury, Shropshire SY4 5DB. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objection or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days of this public notice. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed.
