EXTINGUISHMENT OF HIGHWAY RIGHTS
LAND AT WELLINGTON RETAIL PARK, WATERLOOVILLE
Notice is hereby given that Hampshire County Council proposes to make application to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at The Law Courts, Winston Churchill Avenue, Portsmouth, on Friday 23 July 2004, at 10.30 am, for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, extinguishing highway rights over portions of land at Wellington Retail Park, Waterlooville, which are surplus to highway requirements. A plan showing coloured blue the areas of highway the subject of the application has been deposited at The Library, The Precinct, Waterlooville, where it may be inspected during the following opening hours: Monday, Tuesday and Saturday 9.30 am to 5.00 pm; Wednesday 9.30 am to 1.00 pm; Thursday 9.30 am to 7.00 pm; Friday 9.00 am to 7.00 pm. On the hearing of the application the applicant authority, any person to whom notice is required to be given under paragraph 1 of the Twelfth Schedule to the Highways Act 1980, any person who uses the highway and any other person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order applied for, shall have the right to be heard.
