NOTICE OF APPLICATIONS TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Anglian Water Services Limited, of Henderson House, Lancaster Way, Huntington, Cambridgeshire PE29 6XQ, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary Licence 7/34/19/G/110 which authorises the abstraction of water from six boreholes in the sand and gravel in the parish of Kirby Cane in the district of South Norfolk in the county of Norfolk. The variation being applied for is to licence the use of an additional two boreholes at Grid Refs TM 3776 9268 and TM 3766 9259. There will be no changes to the currently licensed quantities. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the address given above and at Bungay Library, Wharton Street, Bungay, Suffolk NR35 1EL, between 3 November 2003 and 5 December 2003. Any person who wishes to make representations about the applications should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Eastern Area, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
