THE EALING (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO 178)
ORDER 2003
INTRODUCTION OF DOUBLE YELLOW LINE WAITING RESTRICTIONS—HORN LANE, FRIARY ROAD, EMANUEL AVENUE AND THE DRIVE, LONDON W3

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing on 22 May 2003 made the above-named Order under sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.
The general effect of the Order will be:

(a) to increase the single yellow line waiting restrictions to double yellow line waiting restrictions applying at all times in Horn Lane, North Acton, on its north-west side, between the north-eastern kerbline of the entrance to No 267 Horn Lane and a point 3 metres south-west of a point opposite the party wall of Nos 238 and 240 Horn Lane and on its south-east side, between the north-eastern kerbline of Emanuel Avenue and the southern kerbline of the access road lying at the rear of Nos 222-224 Horn Lane and Nos 1 to 9 (odd) York Road; and
(b) to introduce double yellow line waiting restrictions applying at all times in the lengths of Friary Road, Emanuel Avenue and The Drive specified in the Schedule to this notice.

3. The Order, which will come into force on 27 May 2003, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Parkman Ltd, 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP, until 3 July 2003.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 3 July 2003.

Friary Road, London W3, the northern arm,

(a) the north-west side, between the south-eastern kerbline of Horn Lane and a point 51 metres north-east of that kerbline;
(b) the south-east side, between the north-eastern kerbline of Emanuel Drive and the north-eastern kerbline of The Drive.

Emanuel Avenue, London W3, the north-east side, between the south-eastern kerbline of Friary Road and a point 17 metres south-east of that kerbline.

The Drive, London W3, between the south-eastern kerbline of Friary Road and a point 5 metres south-east of that kerbline.
