HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTION 116
STOPPING-UP OF PART OF FOOTWAY AT BEACONSFIELD STREET, NORTHALLERTON
Take notice that North Yorkshire County Council, being the highway authority for the
County of North Yorkshire, intends to apply to the Magistrates Court for the Petty
Sessional Division of Northallerton and Richmond sitting at The Court House, l’Anson
Road, Gallowgate, Richmond, North Yorkshire at 10.00 am, on 11 July 2003, for an Order
under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, to authorise the stopping-up of part of
the footway at Beaconsfield Street at Northallerton in the District of Hambleton,
on the ground that it is unnecessary.
A plan showing the proposed area of footway to be stopped up, together with details
of the proposal, has been deposited at Room 17D, County Hall, Northallerton and may
be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours.
