THE STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAYS (UNNAMED HIGHWAY AT LLANDYGAI INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, BANGOR, GWYNEDD) ORDER 200 

Notice is hereby given that the Minister for Economic Development acting on behalf of the National Assembly for Wales, proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping-up of the length of highway described in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in Schedule 3 to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning persmission granted by Gwynedd Council on 21 January 2003 under Ref CO2A/0683/I6/R4. The Order will cease to have effect upon any cessation of the planning permission referred to above.
The Order also provides for the new highway described in Schedule 2 to this notice to become highway maintainable at public expense, for which Gwynedd Council is to be the highway authority.
During the 28 days from 21 May 2003 copies of the draft Order and the deposited plan may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Gwynedd Council, Shirehall, Caernarfon, Gwynedd or may be obtained, free of charge, from the address below quoting the Welsh Assembly Government’s reference.
Within the above-mentioned period of 28 days any person may, by notice to the Welsh Assembly Government Transport Directorate, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ (quoting Ref CZ 510-5-44-6), object to the making of the Order. In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.

Description of the highway to be stopped up under this Order

The length of highway to be stopped up and shown by diagonal hatching on the deposited plan is at Llandygai Industrial Estate, Bangor, Gwynedd and comprises that part of an unnamed highway which extends from a point 70 metres north-east of the substation designated “08598711008 Ready Mixed Concrete” in a north-easterly direction, having a maximum length of 90 metres and an average width of 6 metres (the maximum length being indicated by the letters “A” and “B” and the maximum width being indicated by the letter “C” on the deposited plan).

Description of length of new highway to be provided

The new highway to be provided will form a turning-head on the unnamed highway at Llandygai Industrial Estate, Bangor, is 48.5 metres north of the substation designated “0859711008 Ready Mixed Concrete” and has an average length of 30 metres and an average width of 15 metres.
