THE WANDSWORTH (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREAS) (AMENDMENT NO 128) ORDER 2003
AMENDMENT TO WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN MAGDALEN ROAD SW18 AND INTRODUCTION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN OPENVIEW SW18 AND LOCKINGTON ROAD LONDON SW8

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 13 May 2003, made the above Order under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of, Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to:

(a) introduce waiting restrictions operating between 7.00 am and 7.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays on the south-east side of Magdalen Road and the north-east side of Openview outside Beatrix Potter Primary School;
(b) introduce waiting restrictions operating between 8.00 am and 6.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays on the north-east side of Lockington Road across the entrance to the car park adjacent to Newton Preparatory School.

3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 19 May 2003, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made in The Concourse, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU.
4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from Engineering Services, Department of Technical Services at the address given below (telephone 020-8871 6547).
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
