Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have granted permission for part of the above park to be used on Sunday 8 June 2003, between the hours of 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm, for the purposes of a Pentecost celebration and that, accordingly, that part of the park will be closed to the public on that day and between those hours (but the event organiser has indicated that any member of the public wishing to attend and participate in the event is welcome to do so).
The part of the park so to be closed is a portion of the approximately triangular area bounded by pathways which lies a little to the south-east of 51 Long Lane, 8 Parkside, 24 The Ridgeway, 47 The Ridgeway and a line running north-eastwards from the eastern corner of 47 The Ridgeway.
A plan showing the part of the park to be closed will be on display on the notice board at Friern Barnet Town Hall, Friern Barnet Lane, Friern Barnet, London N11 and will be available for inspection by members of the public Mondays to Fridays inclusive (bank holidays excepted) between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm from the date of this notice until 1 June 2003.
