REPLACEMENT ELMBRIDGE BOROUGH LOCAL PLAN 2000

NOTICE OF PUBLIC INQUIRY INTO OBJECTIONS TO THE ALTERATIONS POLICY HSG10—AFFORDABLE HOUSING

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

Elmbridge Borough Council has prepared proposals for the alteration of Policy HSG10 of the above Plan. If, and when, these proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for the area of Elmbridge Borough Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.
A Public Inquiry is to be held to hear duly made objections to the Alterations to the Replacement Elmbridge Borough Local Plan. The Public Inquiry will only be concerned with objections to the proposed alterations to Policy HSG10—Affordable Housing. The First Secretary of State has appointed Mr David Richards BSoc Sci DipTP MRTPI as the Inspector to hold the Public Inquiry.
The Public Inquiry will take the form of a Round Table Session which will take place on Tuesday 22 July 2003 commencing at 10.00 am in Committee Rooms 4 and 5 in the Civic Centre. It is anticipated that it will last only one day and members of the public are invited to attend.
