THURROCK UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Thurrock Borough Council have prepared the above plan. If, and when, this plan is adopted it will form the development plan for the area of Thurrock. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the plan should be sent in writing to Rod Lyons, Head of Regeneration, Thurrock Council, Civic Offices, New Road, Grays RM17 6SL, before Friday 9 May 2003. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. The may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the plan. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on Friday 9 May 2003, will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or other hearing.
