THE HARINGEY (GOODS VEHICLES) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2003
1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey, hereinafter called the Council, on 27 March 2003, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.
2. The general effect of the Haringey (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No 94) Order 2003 would be to further amend the Haringey (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (No 1) Order 1994 so that waiting by vehicles would be prohibited along sections of West Green Road, London, N15, West Road London, N17, Etherley Road London, N15, Terront Road, London N15, Black Boy Lane, London N15, Langham Road, London N15 and Abbotsford Road, London N15.
Details of exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order of 1994.
3. The general effect of The Haringey (Free Parking Places) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No 3) Traffic Order 2003 would be to further amend The Haringey (Free Parking Places) (Special Parking Area) (No 1) Traffic Order 2002 and to introduce free parking places in West Green Road, London N15.
4. The general effect of The Haringey (Goods Vehicles) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No 1) Traffic Order 2003 would be to further amend The Haringey (Goods Vehicles (Special Parking Area) (No 1) Traffic Order 2002 and to introduce Goods Vehicles parking places in West Green Road, London N15.
5. Copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on the 28 March 2003, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders and a plan showing the locations and effects of the Orders may be inspected during a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, during normal office working hours at Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, Crouch End, Hornsey, London N8.
6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that and of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Orders, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
