NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Southern Water Services Ltd, of Southern House, Yeoman Road, Worthing, West Sussex BN13 3NX, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 9/40/5/098 to abstract water from Bewl water reservoir, at National Grid Ref TQ 6809 3358, at Bewl, East Sussex. The variation being applied for is 9,500,000 cubic metres per year, 35,000 cubic metres per day and 1,667 cubic metres per hour. This increase is for an existing abstraction licence which transfers water between Bewl and Darwell reservoirs. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Southern House, Lewes Road, Falmer, Brighton BN1 9PY between 1 April 2003 and 30 April 2003.
