NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF PROPOSALS FOR THE ALTERATION OF A LOCAL PLAN
RYEDALE LOCAL PLAN

Ryedale District Council has prepared proposals for the alteration of the above plan. If, and when, these proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for that part of the District of Ryedale which is outside the North York Moors National Park area. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.
Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection at Ryedale District Council offices at Ryedale House, Malton, free of charge, on 26 March to 7 May 2003, Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm and Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals should be sent in writing to J Thompson, Local Plans and Conservation Unit, Ryedale District Council, Ryedale House, Malton, North Yorkshire YO17 7HH, before 5.00 pm on Wednesday 7 May 2003. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals.
Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified within the 6 week period ending on 7 May 2003 will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or other hearing.

Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals

If no objections to the proposals are received during the period given for making objections Ryedale District Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period.
