STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAY AT ST ANN’S, BARKING (PART) NO 2

Take notice that the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (“the Council”), which is the Local Highway Authority for the purposes of the Highways Act 1980 (“the Act”), for the area in which the highway at St Ann’s, Barking, is situated, intends to apply to the Magistrates Court, sitting at Barking and Dagenham Court House, at East Street, Barking, Essex IG11 8EW, on 25 April 2003, at 10.00 am, for an Order under section 116 of the Act (“the Order”), authorising the Council to stop-up parts of the highway known as St Ann’s, Barking as shown hatched on the plan to which the Order relates (“the Plan”), and decribed in the Schedule below on the grounds that said parts of the highway are unnecessary.
A copy of the Plan showing the areas of the highway to be stopped-up can be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of the Council at the Town Hall, Barking, Essex IG11 7LU, between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

(a) An area of land measuring approximately 264 square metres located to the North West of St Ann’s, Barking.
