NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Aylesbury Vale Golf Club, of Stewkley Road, Wing, Leighton Buzzard LU7 0UJ, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from Burcott Lodge Stream, at National Grid Ref SP 869252, at Aylesbury Vale Golf Club, Wing in the district of Aylesbury Vale, in the county of Buckinghamshire.
The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 16.2 cubic metres per hour, 70 cubic metres per day and 2,000 cubic metres per year, between March and October each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation.
A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Aylesbury Vale Golf Club, between 24 March 2003 and 30 April 2003.
Any person wishing to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon PE28 4NE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
