NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Environment Act 1995) that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Seal Sands Storage Ltd, Seal Sands, Middlesbrough TS2 1UB, for consent to discharge up to 100 square metres per day of site drainage (trade effluent) from Seal Sands Storage Ltd, Seal Sands, Middleseborough into the River Tees at National Grid Ref NZ 5445 2508. Any person who wishes to make representations or objections with respect to the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Coverdale House, Aviator Court, Clifton Moor, Yorkshire YO30 4GZ, for the attention of Mr Dominic Shepherd, quoting reference number 25/04/1754/, not later than 2 May 2003. A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the Environment Agency offices at Swan House, Merchants Wharfe, Westpoint Road, Thornaby, Cleveland TS17 6PB on weekdays between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm up to 2 May 2003.
