HIGHWAYS ACT 1980—SECTION 116

STOPPING-UP OF PUBLIC HIGHWAYS

Notice is hereby given that Liverpool City Council, intends to apply to the City Magistrates’ Court, Dale Street, Liverpool, on Thursday 24 April 2003, at 1.45 pm, for Orders under section 116 of the above Act, for the stopping-up of the following highways on the ground that they are unnecessary: 1. Area of public highway adjoining Riverview Heights and leading from Beechwood Road and Beechwood Gardens, Liverpool 19; 2. Area of public highway adjoining Riverview Heights and leading from Beechwood Gardens, Liverpool 19; 3. Parts of Stonedale Crescent, footpaths and associated areas of highway adjoining and leading from Stonedale Crescent and Stonebridge Lane, Liverpool 11; 4. Waterhouse Street, Liverpool 5. 5. Un-named access road leading from London Road to Oakes Street and part of Norman Street, Liverpool 3; 6. Part of Church Street, Liverpool 1; 7. Part of Georges Dockway, Liverpool 3 8. Part of Georges Dockway, Liverpool 3; 9. Passageway leading from Kilrea Close, Liverpool 11; 10. Passageway leading from Glaslyn Way, Liverpool 9; 11. Part of Southey Street, Liverpool 15; 12. Part of Wilkie Street, Liverpool 15; 13. Part of Ormsby Street, Liverpool 15; Plans showing the effect of the proposed Orders may be inspected, without payment, between the hours of 8.45 am and 4.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the City Solicitors Office, Municipal Buildings, Dale Street, Liverpool. On the hearing of the application any statutory undertaker having apparatus under, in, upon, over along or across the highways, the owners and occupiers of lands adjoining the highways, any person who uses the highways and any other person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Orders shall have a right to be heard.
