NOTICE OF INCREASE IN ADDITIONAL PARKING CHARGES

1. Following a determination by the Association of London Government Transport and Environment Committee, the Mayor of London and Secretary of State for Transport have approved the following additional parking charges to take effect in the London boroughs from 1 April 2003. 2. The fine payable for a Penalty Charge Notice issued within the London borough of Lambeth will increase on the above date to: (a) Band A £100 reduced to £50 if paid within 14 days from the date of issue of the Penalty Charge Notice; (b) Band B £80 reduced to £40 if paid within 14 days from the date of issue of the Penalty Charge Notice; (c) Penalty for contravention of bus lane regulations £100 reduced to £50 if paid within 14 days from the date of issue of the Penalty Charge Notice. 3. Other additional parking charges increases are: (a) £65 to release a vehicle from clamp; (b) £150 to release a vehicle from the car pound; (c) £25 storage (per day); and (d) £65 for disposal of a vehicle. 4. Roads affected by the increase in charges referred to in paragraph 2(a) and (c) and paragraph 3 above will be those roads which fall (i) within the London Borough of Lambeth and lie north of the A205 South Circular Road; and (ii) those roads which fall within a controlled parking zone within the London Borough of Lambeth. 5. Roads affected by the increase in charges referred to in paragraph 2(b) and (c) and paragraph 3 above will be those roads in the London Borough of Lambeth that lie south of the A205 South Circular Road and do not fall within a controlled parking zone within the London Borough of Lambeth. 6. If you have any enquiries about this matter please telephone Lambeth’s Parking Services on 020-7926 9000 or e-mail t&hcallcentre@lambeth.gov.uk.
