THE ISLINGTON (PARKING PLACE) (NO  ) ORDER 200

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Islington proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 45, 46, 48 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. 2. The general effect of the Order would be to further amend the Islington (Parking Places) (No 1) 2003 Order, by shortening the shared use parking place on the north-west side of Mackenzie Road outside Nos 25 and 27 Mackenzie Road, by one vehicle space. 3. The parking place Order would provide that the hours during which vehicles may be left in the parking place, the types of vehicles which would be allowed to use the parking place and the amount of charge for the leaving of a vehicle in the parking place would remain unchanged. 4. A copy of the proposed Order, of plans indicating details of the measures referred to in paragraph 2 above, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours for a period of 6 weeks from when the Order is made, or the Council decide not to make the Order at the following location: Transport and Design, 222 Upper Street, Islington, London N1 1YA. 5. Further information may be obtained by telephoning Transport and Design on 020-7527 2137. 6. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Order should be sent in writing to Dipak Khatri, Traffic and Transport, PO Box 3333, 222 Upper Street, London N1 1YA, within 21 days of the date of this notice. All objections or representations must specify the grounds on which they are made and include the Ref “Parking Places/Mackenzie Road/T&D”.
