THE ISLINGTON (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) (NO  ) TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER 2003 NO   RELATING TO BUNHILL ROW

1. Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Islington proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The general effect of this Order will be to prohibit all vehicles, except pedal cycles, proceeding along Bunhill Row to turn right into Old Street. 3. The prohibition referred to will not apply to: (i) pedal cycles which follow the route through the barrier indicated by traffic signs; (ii) vehicles used for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes; (iii) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform. 4. A copy of the proposed Order, of plans indicating details of the measures referred to above, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order at the following location: The Municipal Offices, 222 Upper Street, London N1 1YA, please ask for Ref TMO/03/12 on extension 2346. 5. Any person who wishes to object to the making of this Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the aforementioned address quoting Ref TMO/03/12, within the period of 21 days from the date of this notice.
