PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000

INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that JT Landscapes Environmental Ltd has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the stripping of asbestos from railway vehicles as defined in section 3.2, Part A(1)(b) in the above regulations. The installation is located at Caerwent Training Camp, Dinham, Caerwent, Gwent NP26 5XL in the borough/district of Monmouthshire in the county of Monmouthshire. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. Information relating to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate the Caerwent Asbetos Removal Operation is held in registers at the following locations. Environment Agency Wales, Customer Contact, South East Area Office, Rivers House, St Mellons Business Park, St Mellons, Cardiff CF3 0EY, and County Environmental and Public Health Protection Department, Monmouthshire County Council, County Hall, Cwmbran NP44 2XH. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above-stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice: The Environment Agency Wales, PIR/RSR, South East Area Office, Rivers House, St Mellons Business Park, St Mellons, Cardiff CF3 0EY. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
