DAVENTRY DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN
NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF PROPOSALS FOR CHANGES TO ALTERATION TO THE DAVENTRY DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN (ADOPTED JUNE 1997)

Daventry District Council have prepared proposals for changes to the Daventry District Adopted Local Plan. If, and when these proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for the area of Daventry District Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. These deposit alterations are as follows: Affordable Housing Replacement of paragraphs 4.101 to 4.111 with new paragraphs 4.101 to 4.108. Replace Policy HS25 with a new Policy HS25. Insertion of a new paragraph to Policy HS26. Amendments to Policy HS27. Insertion of new Policy HS29 on size and mix of house types. Insertion of new paragraphs 4.119 to 4.121 to Policy HS29. The proposed changes can be viewed in the following locations: (i) Daventry District Council Offices, Lodge Road, Daventry; (ii) Braunston Library, Village Hall, Braunston; (iii) Brixworth Library, Spratton Road, Brixworth; (iv) Daventry Library, North Street, Daventry; (v) Long Buckby Library, Station Road, Long Buckby; (vi) Moulton Library, Doves Lane, Moulton; (vii) Woodford Halse Library, Village Hall, Woodford Halse. Free of charge during normal opening hours. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals should be received in writing by The Director of Community Development, Daventry District Council, Lodge Road, Daventry, Northamptonshire NN11 5AF, by 5.00 pm on 30 April 2003. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made, and may be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals. Only those objectors whose objections are made in writing and sent to the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on 30 April 2003 will have a right to have their objections considered. If no objections are received during the period given for making objections, Daventry District Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period.
