NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF A PROPOSAL FOR THE ALTERATION OF A LOCAL PLAN

Chiltern District Council has prepared a proposal for the alteration of the above plan. If, and when, this proposal is adopted it will form part of the development plan for the area of Chiltern District. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting the area. Copies of the proposal are available for public inspection at the Planning Enquiry Desk, Customer Services, Chiltern District Council, Council Offices, King George V Road, Amersham, Buckinghamshire HP6 5AW, free of charge, on Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 am to 5.30 pm and Fridays between 8.30 am and 5.00 pm, and the following libraries during normal opening hours: Amersham Library, Chiltern Avenue, Amersham, Buckinghamshire; Beaconsfield Library, Reynolds Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire; Chalfont St Giles Library, High Street, Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire; Chalfont St Peter Library, High Steet, Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire; Chesham Library, Elgiva Lane, Chesham, Buckinghamshire; Great Missenden Library, High Street, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire; Hazlemere Library, 312 Amersham Road, Hazlemere, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire; Little Chalfont Library, Cokes Lane, Little Chalfont, Amersham, Buckinghamshire. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposal should be sent in writing to the Head of Planning Services, Directorate of Planning and The Environment, Planning Services, Planning Policy Team, Chiltern District Council, Council Offices, King George V Road, Amersham, Buckinghamshire HP6 5AW, before 5.30 pm on Wednesday 30 April 2003. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposal. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the six week period ending on 30 April 2003 will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or other hearing. Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals If no objections to the proposal are received during the period given for making objections, Chiltern District Council intend to adopt the proposal on the expiry of that period. 20 March 2003.
