THE SUTTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (NO  ) (AMENDMENT NO  ) ORDER 200

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The principal objective of this Order is to reduce dangerous and/or obstructive parking near certain road junctions. 3. The general effect of this Order will be to: (a) introduce waiting restrictions “no waiting at any time” at the following junctions: (i) Barrington Road at its junction with Sutton Common Road; (ii) Blenheim Gardens at its junctions with Onslow Gardens; (iii) Bute Road at its junctions with Clifton Road and Osmond Gardens; (iv) Church Lane at its junction with Guy Road; (v) Dale Park Avenue at its junction with Nightingale Road; (vi) Ivydale Road at its junctions with Dale Park Avenue and Hackbridge Park Gardens; (vii) Lavender Road at its junctions with Park Lane, Carshalton and Parkgate Road, Carshalton; (viii) London Road, Hackbridge at its junction with New Road; (ix) Melbourne Road at its junction with Melbourne Close; and (x) Stanley Park Road at its junction with Warnham Court Road; for the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 to this notice. (b) introduce waiting restrictions “no waiting at any time” in Bond Gardens for the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 to this notice. (c) introduce waiting and loading restrictions “no waiting at any time” and “no loading/unloading at any time” in Green Wrythe Lane at its junction with Thornton Road for the lengths of road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice. 4. Full details of the proposals are contained in the following documents: (a) the draft Order; (b) the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order; and (c) plans showing the locations and effects of the proposals. These may be examined at: Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday; and Environment and Leisure, 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday. 5. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Construction and Property Consultancy on 020-8770 6445. 6. If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send a statement in writing, including the grounds for your objection and quoting Ref WL395, to the address given below by 18 April 2003. 7. Persons objecting to the making of such an Order should be made aware that, in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, this Council would be legally obliged to make any comments received in response to this notice open to public inspection, if requested. Schedule 1 (introduce waiting restrictions—“no waiting at any time”) Barrington Road at its junction with Sutton Common Road: Barrington Road, from the south-western kerbline of Sutton Common Road south-westwards for a distance of 15 metres; Sutton Common Road, the south-west side, from a point 10 metres north-west of the north-western kerbline of Barrington Road to a point 10 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerbline of Barrington Road. Blenheim Gardens, at its junctions with Onslow Gardens: Blenheim Gardens, from a point 10 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerbline of Onslow Gardens to a point 10 metres south-west of the south-western kerbline of Onslow Gardens; Onslow Gardens: (a) the west side, from a point 11 metres north of the north-western kerbline of Blenheim Gardens to a point 11.2 metres south of the south-eastern kerbline of Blenheim Gardens; (b) the east side, from a point 10 metres north of the north-western kerbline of Blenheim Gardens to a point 10 metres south of the south-eastern kerbline of Blenheim Gardens. Bond Gardens, the perimeter of the centre island outside Nos 1-11 Bond Gardens which separates the main carriageway from the service road. Bute Road at its junctions with Clifton Road and Osmond Gardens: Bute Road: (a) the west side: (i) from a point 5 metres north of the northern kerbline of Clifton Road to a point 5 metres south of the southern kerbline of Clifton Road; (ii) from a point 2 metres south of the southern flank wall of No 86 Bute Road northwards for a distance of 5 metres; (b) the east side, from a point 5 metres north of the northern kerbline of Osmond Gardens to a point 5 metres south of the southern kerbline of Osmond Gardens. Clifton Road, from the western kerbline of Bute Road westwards for a distance of 5 metres; Osmond Gardens, from the eastern kerbline of Bute Road eastwards for a distance of 5 metres. Church Lane at its junction with Guy Road: Church Lane, from the western kerbline of Guy Road westwards for a distance of 15 metres; Guy Road, the west side, from a point 15 metres north of the northern kerbline of Church Lane southwards to a point 4 metres from the common boundary of Nos 49 and 51 Guy Road. Dale Park Avenue at its junction with Nightingale Road: Dale Park Avenue, from the north-western kerbline of Nightingale Road north-westwards for a distance of 10 metres; Nightingale Road, the north-west side, from a point 10 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerbline of Dale Park Avenue to a point 10 metres south-west of the south-western kerbline of Dale Park Avenue. Ivydale Road at its junctions with Dale Park Avenue and Hackbridge Park Gardens: Ivydale Road: (a) from the south-western kerbline of Hackbridge Park Gardens south-westwards for a distance of 10 metres; (b) from the north-eastern kerbline of Dale Park Avenue north-eastwards for a distance of 10 metres; Dale Park Avenue, the north-east side, from a point 10 metres north-west of the north-western kerbline of Ivydale Road to a point 10 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerbline of Ivydale Road; Hackbridge Park Gardens, the south-western carriageway, the south-west side, from a point 10 metres north-west of the north-western kerbline of Ivydale Road to a point 10 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerbline of Ivydale Road. Lavender Road at its junctions with Park Lane, Carshalton and Parkgate Road, Carshalton: Lavender Road: (a) the north-west side, from the eastern kerbline of Park Lane north-eastwards for a distance of 15 metres; (b) the south-east side, from the north-eastern kerbline of Parkgate Road north-eastwards for a distance of 10.4 metres; Park Lane, the east side, from a point 10 metres north of the north-western kerbline of Lavender Road to a point 10 metres south of the south-western kerbline of Parkgate Road; Parkgate Road: (a) the north-east side, from the south-eastern kerbline of Lavender Road south-eastwards for a distance of 15 metres; (b) the south-west side, from the eastern kerbline of Park Lane south-eastwards for a distance of 8.9 metres. London Road, Hackbridge at its junction with New Road: London Road, the west side, from a point 10 metres north of the northern kerbline of New Road to a point 10 metres south of the southern kerbline of New Road; New Road, from the western kerbline of London Road westwards for a distance of 10 metres.
