THE A12 TRUNK ROAD (BRENTWOOD BYPASS, ESSEX) (DE-RESTRICTION) ORDER 2003

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under sections 82(2) and 83(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on a length of the A12 Trunk Road at Brentwood in Essex. The effect of the Order, which will come into force on 27 March 2003, will be to remove the 30 miles per hour speed limit automatically imposed by the installation of street lighting on a length of the A12 between points 178 metres south-west of the centre point of Wigley Bush Lane overbridge and 703 metres north-east of the centre point of Hall Lane overbridge and restore the national speed limit of 70 miles per hour. A copy of the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Brentwood Library, New Road, Brentwood, Essex CM14 4BP; Essex County Council, County Hall, Market Road, Chelmsford, Essex, or obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Operations Division, Orders Team, Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL, quoting Ref HA 28/8/42.
