NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that FWS Carter Ltd, Greendale, Woodbury Salterton, Exeter, Devon, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from the Maris, at National Grid Ref SY 023 890 (Hogsbrook Farm, Woodbury Salterton). The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 38 cubic metres per day, 10,337 cubic metres per year for agriculture and domestic use. A copy of the application and any map, plan and other document submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the above address, between 19 March and 19 April 2003. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Exminster House, Miller Way, Exminster, Devon, before the end of the said period.
