THE BEXLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO 7) TRAFFIC ORDER 2003
THE BEXLEY (BUS STOP CLEARWAY) (NO STOPPING EXCEPT BUSES) (AMENDMENT NO 28) TRAFFIC ORDER 2003

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley on 17 March 2003 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by sections 8 of, and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to, the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No 7) Traffic Order 2003, will be to further amend the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2002 so that additional “At any time” waiting restrictions are introduced in parts of the roads listed in the Schedule to this notice The Order will also continue indefinitely the current waiting and loading restrictions introduced experimentally in Broadway, Bexleyheath. 3. The general effect of the Bexley (Bus Stop Clearway) (No Stopping Except Buses) (Amendment No 28) Traffic Order 2003 will continue the current Bus Stop Clearway restrictions introduced experimentaly in Broadway, Bexleyheath. 4. A copy of the Orders which will come into operation on 24 March 2003, the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2002 (and the Order that have amended that Order); the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order and a map which indicates the length of roads to which the Order relates can be inspected until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date this notice is published, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, in The Information Centre, London Borough of Bexley, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB. 5. A copy of the Orders, plan and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders can also be inspected, for a period of 6 weeks from the date of the Orders at the Central Library, Townley Road, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7HJ during the opening hours of the Library. 6. For further information please telephone Bob Clark on 020 8303 7777, Ext 2973. 7. Copies of the Orders may be purchased from the London Borough of Bexley, Room 37, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB. 8. Persons desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
