The London Borough of Tower Hamlets hereby gives notice that it has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-Up of Highways” (No 1) Order 2003, to authorise the stopping-up of a part of the footway of Warrington Place, London E14. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the offices of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Highways Planning and Safety, 60 Southern Grove, London E3 4PN, (quoting Ref 20.04/22-01/2003) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Highways Planning and Safety, 60 Southern Grove, London E3 4PN. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 17 March 2003, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein. It is shown edged black on the plan. Its width is 7 metres. Its length is 18 metres. The stopping-up is to facilitate redevelopment.
