APPLICATION FOR AN ORDER AUTHORISING THE STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAYS AROUND NOS 1 TO 15 DAMERAL CLOSE AND BELLOTT STREET, CHEETHAM HILL, MANCHESTER

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Manchester intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Court House, Crown Square, Manchester on Thursday 24 April 2003 at 2.00 pm for Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 authorising the stopping-up of the highways specified hereto on the grounds that they are unnecessary. A plan showing the said highways may be inspected, without payment at my office Room 601 between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm from Mondays to Fridays. Any person who would be aggrieved by the making of the said Order may appear before the Court and make objections or representations thereto. Any person intending to attend the hearing of the application is requested to inform me, quoting Ref L/RSA/EVD5001/412, before the date of the hearing of their intention to appear. Schedule Passageway situated directly adjacent to Nos 13 to 15 Dameral Close, commencing from Bellott Street in a northerly direction to meet the existing passage at the side and rear of No 91 Brideoak Street, comprising an approximate length of 26 metres and an approximate width of 3 metres. Shown as 1 on the plan. Highway situated directly to the northern side of Nos 1 to 15 Dameral Close, comprising an approximate length of 28 metres and an approximate width of 8.5 metres. Shown as 2 on the plan. Highway situated between Nos 3 Dameral Close and 82 Bellott Street, commencing from Bellott Street in a northerly direction to meet the existing passageway at the rear of Nos 77 and 79 Brideoak Street, comprising an approximate length of 26 metres and an approximate width of 13 metres.
