NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that R H Hardstaff & Sons of Hall Farm, Linby, Nottinghamshire is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial numbers 3/28/64/243/G and 3/28/64/200/G which authorises the abstraction of water from the Sherwood Sandstone at National Grid Refs SK 6193 5544 and SK 6239 5637 at Baulker Farm, Farnsfield and Forest Farm, Farnsfield respectively. The variations being applied for are to extend the current expiry date of licence 3/28/64/243/G from 31 October 2003 and of licence 3/28/64/200/G from 31 March 2004. The application is also to increase the period of abstraction on licence 3/28/64/200/G from April to September inclusive to April to October inclusive each year and to increase the area of land. There is no increase to the current authorised licensed quantities of 1,320 cubic metres per day and 127,500 cubic metres annually for 3/28/64/243/G and 1,210 cubic metres per day and 56,500 cubic metres annually for 3/28/64/200/G. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected free of charge at all reasonable hours at Baulker Farm, Farnsfield, Nottinghamshire, between 17 March and 17 April 2003. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Trentside Offices, Scarrington Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 5FA before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
